    Hi i got a inch for my birthday the cake looked good but was very dry the cake inside was not nice at all.my wife was told she could only get a inch off the shelf no pre order it was brought at short notice but iwould've preferred a fresh cake. We have used cake box leicester on many occasions and have never been disappointed with them in the past.We payed over £ for it i feel totally ripped off

    first and worst experience here. i tried to pick up a stale cake that was available (meaning it was on display at the counter) last sunday for my son's birthday. and they said to come back and pick it up before pm. my house is right behind the bakery so it's only a - minute walk. i left home at :pm but when i got there they were closed. it means they didn't do their job as employees. and intentionally closed the shop to go home early, moreover they were inhumane. while my son's birthday that day there was no replacement cake because it was sunday. but the next day i went to talk to them they denied it, i asked them to check the phone number they called to see what time it was? but no. moreover they blamed me for not giving them the phone number?? ridiculous. the employee's job should be to proactively ask for the necessary information from the customer. but that day she didn't ask for it??ok . my family is ok with the cake for almost dong . enjoy it by yourself maybe for a week ?? bad.

    Nipped in the cake box today to get a congratulations cake for my daughter, all I can say is wow! We brought the fresh cream malteser chocolate cake, the sponge was so light and so beautiful made, I'm usually not a fan of cake and really struggle to get through a slice but I could've ate the whole cake! The girl who served us was really polite and the lady who iced congratulations and my daughters name did it so quickly and so well. From now on I will only ever be buying my cakes from here, my daughter loved her cake (and her heart shaped sparkler) thankyou cake box
